Delivery Information
We know that getting your packaging on time is important. Whether you’re preparing for a product launch, a new retail range, an event, or a busy sales period, we want you to have a clear idea of when your order will be ready and when you can expect delivery.
This policy explains our artwork approval process, production times, delivery arrangements, collection service, and what happens if there’s a problem with your shipment.
Artwork Approval and Production
We can’t start making your packaging until we have the correct artwork and all the information needed for your order.
Your artwork should be supplied in the correct size, format, and resolution. Once we’ve prepared the final proof, you’ll need to check it carefully and give us your approval.
Production starts only after the final proof has been approved.
Please check the design, colours, wording, dimensions, images, and other details before approving your proof. Once you’ve given your approval, your order will be placed into the production queue.
If artwork changes are needed, the production period may start later than originally expected.
Same-Day Cut-Off
If you’re looking for same-day dispatch, your artwork and order must be fully approved before 12:00 PM.
Same-day dispatch isn’t available for every order. It depends on the materials required, the size and quantity of your order, and our production capacity on the day.
If you need Priority or Priority Plus service, we recommend speaking to us before placing your order. We’ll check what’s possible based on your requirements.
Next-day or accelerated production shouldn’t be assumed unless we’ve confirmed it with you.
Delivery at a Glance
Most completed orders are sent by courier using a next-working-day service.
Our usual delivery days are:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
We don’t currently offer Saturday delivery or guaranteed delivery times.
Once your order has been collected by the courier, the exact arrival time is outside our control. Courier delays, weather, seasonal demand, transport problems, and other unexpected events can sometimes affect delivery.
Standard Production: 11–18 Business Days
Standard Production usually takes 11 to 18 business days.
The service is:
- Free on orders over £70
- £10 for orders under £70
- Based on Monday to Friday working days
- Not calculated using weekends or UK bank holidays
We deliver to:
- England
- Wales
- Scotland
- Northern Ireland
Unfortunately, we can’t deliver to PO Boxes or BFPO addresses.
Additional Delivery Charges
A minimum delivery charge of £20 applies to the following postcode areas:
AB31-38, AB41-56, BT, FK19-21, HS1-9, IV41-49, IV51, IV55-56, KA27-28, PA20, PA41, PA60-88, PH42-44, GY, JE, IM, PO31-41 and TR21-25.
Some addresses may have an additional surcharge depending on their location.
If an extra charge applies, we’ll let you know before production starts.
Pallet deliveries may have different delivery charges depending on the size of the shipment and destination. We’ll confirm any additional cost with you beforehand.
Express Production: 6–10 Business Days
Express Production usually takes 6 to 10 business days and costs £20.
The normal delivery conditions still apply.
A £50 regional surcharge applies to the postcode areas listed above.
Express service is subject to production capacity and the requirements of your order.
Priority Production: 3–5 Business Days
Priority Production usually takes 3 to 5 business days and costs £50.
The same general conditions as Standard Production apply.
Priority Production isn’t available for:
AB31-38, AB41-56, BT, FK19-21, HS1-9, IV41-49, IV51, IV55-56, KA27-28, PA20, PA41, PA60-88, PH42-44, GY, JE, IM, PO31-41 and TR21-25.
Customers in these areas can choose Express Production where available.
If you’re working to a strict deadline, please speak to us before ordering so we can check the available service for your location.
Priority Plus Production: 1–2 Business Days
Priority Plus is our fastest production service and usually takes 1 to 2 business days.
The service costs £80.
As with the other production services, we need your final artwork approval before manufacturing can begin.
Priority Plus isn’t available for the restricted postcode areas listed above.
Because this is an accelerated service, we recommend contacting us before ordering. We’ll check the artwork, materials, production capacity, and delivery requirements before confirming whether we can meet your deadline.
When Does the Production Time Start?
Your production time begins when we have everything needed to make your order and your final artwork has been approved.
For example, if we’re waiting for updated artwork or you’re still checking your proof, the production period hasn’t started yet.
Weekends and UK bank holidays aren’t counted as production days.
This approach helps avoid confusion and gives you a more accurate idea of when your packaging will be ready.
Artwork Proofs
Most printed proof samples are prepared within around 24 hours, although this can vary depending on the artwork and when your request is received.
A proof isn’t the same as the full production run. Once you’ve approved the proof, your complete order will move into production according to the service you’ve selected.
If you have a particular date in mind, please tell us before ordering.
Courier Delivery
We normally use courier services for completed parcel and pallet orders.
Although most deliveries arrive within the expected courier timeframe, we can’t guarantee a specific delivery time once your order has left our facility.
Delays can happen because of:
- Bad weather
- Heavy seasonal demand
- Road closures
- Transport disruption
- Courier operational issues
- Incorrect delivery information
- Failed delivery attempts
If you have a tight deadline, please allow some extra time wherever possible.
Parcel Deliveries
Parcel deliveries are normally made Monday to Friday between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
We don’t provide specific timed delivery slots.
If nobody is available to receive the parcel, the courier may leave a calling card or arrange another delivery attempt. This isn’t guaranteed.
We also can’t normally instruct a courier to leave your parcel in a particular safe place or with a neighbour.
If you have special delivery instructions, let us know before dispatch and we’ll do our best to pass them on.
Please make sure someone is available to receive the order when it’s due.
Pallet Deliveries
Pallet orders require a little more planning.
We’ll normally confirm the delivery date with you before the pallet leaves our facility. You should also make sure that the delivery address has suitable access for the vehicle and that someone is available to accept the shipment.
If a delivery fails because nobody is available, access isn’t suitable, or the shipment is refused, a re-delivery charge may apply.
The charge will depend on the courier, delivery location, shipment size, and reason for the failed delivery.
Any applicable re-delivery cost must be paid before another delivery is arranged.
Same-Day Collection
Same-day collection from our UK production facility may be available for some orders.
It depends on when the order is completed, the production workload, and whether the order is ready for collection.
Please contact us before arranging a collection so we can confirm availability.
Choosing collection doesn’t remove production or processing charges.
Missing Orders
If your order hasn’t arrived within 5 working days after the end of your selected production period, please contact us straight away.
We’ll help you investigate the issue with the relevant courier.
Please don’t wait to report a missing shipment. We can’t accept liability for missing or non-delivered orders reported more than 7 calendar days after the expected delivery window.
We’re also not responsible for courier tracking errors, delivery failures, or delays that occur after the shipment has been collected.
Ordering for an Important Deadline
If you need your packaging by a specific date, please plan ahead.
Your overall schedule can depend on several things, including artwork preparation, proof approval, production, finishing, dispatch, and courier delivery.
That’s why we recommend getting in touch before placing an urgent order. We’ll discuss your deadline and check what production and delivery service may be suitable.
